Muhammad Zakari comes with over 25 years’ experience in Banking & Finance (1981-2006), with 12 years at senior management level in IT, financial control, bank branch operations and customer service support and 15 years as a core banking software consultant.

A Leader with a broad-spectrum skillset that cut across several aspect of Business, Finance and Entrepreneurship.

He is an expert solution architect and specialist across several Core banking systems (Temenos Transact, Flexcube, Finacle). His competency Banking Business process re-engineering, Retail banking, corporate banking, Treasury, Finance Reporting and IFRS9.

He is also the pioneer President of Golden Age Multipurpose Cooperative Society based in Obalende Lagos & Wuse Mkt Abuja, a financial inclusion Cooperative Finance society with current membership of over 2000 and an aggregate loan portfolio in excess of N500 Million.

Emmanuel Atama (JP)  fimc, cmc

Mr. Atama doubles as the President of Abuja Cooperative Federation. Through his pioneering work at CFAN, and in partnership with CWG PLC, he played key roles in the development and use of the cooperative cloud base software; the Unified Cooperative Platform as a one-stop solution that drives grass-root financial inclusion.

Emmanuel is the initiator of the cooperative inclusive strategy, Coop Business Academy and the Coopwatch Magazine which facilitates product development and training on financial inclusion, readiness to access finance, work plan and budgeting. He was a member of the Monitoring and Evaluation Development Team for the Women Economic Development under the PAWED initiatives funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in Nigeria.

He had his basic cooperative training from the University of Ibadan through various short courses while serving as the Administrator of NITEL Staff Co-operative Society Limited at the defunct NITEL Corporate Headquarters Abuja. He is widely traveled and researched into cooperative countries best practices one of which is his study tour of the State of Israel’s Cooperatives in the year 2015.

Atama holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration & Management and an Advanced Diploma in Public Administration (ADPA) all at upper credit levels from the Benue State Polytechnic, Ugbokolo, Benue State. He is a fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC) and a Certified Management Consultant (CMC).

Anaba Sarah Nwanjuobi (JP)

Chief (Mrs.) Sarah Nwanjuobi Anaba retired meritoriously from the service of the Central Bank of Nigeria as Head, Development Finance Office, Umuohia, Abia State after attaining the mandatory 30 years of service where she successfully facilitated the disbursement and recovery of funds to beneficiaries of the micro, small and medium enterprises fund under the agricultural co-operatives platform, powered by CBN.

A seasoned expert and consultant in diverse areas in the financial sector as a result of advanced knowledge acquired and developed over the years in the development finance office of CBN.

Vast Knowledge in the development of organizational frameworks and structure, problem-solving, and strong management skills.

Result-driven, service-focused team player and leader with high interpersonal communication skills, visionary planning, and administration abilities.

Jagaba Shuaibu Tamu is a Board member and the Treasurer of the National Cooperative Financing Agency of Nigeria (CFAN). He has about 3 decades of experience in the Nigerian Co-operative Enterprise and is currently the President, Civil Servants Co-operative Union of Niger State. He holds an MBA & PGD in Human Resources, PGD in Computer Sciences, and HND in Agricultural Extension Management.

Mrs. Mercy Ikeji is the current public relations officer of the National Cooperative Financing Agency of Nigeria (CFAN)

Mercy is an Accountant and an Accredited Business Development Consultant, also working with the Bank of Industry Nigeria as one of their Business Development Consultant.
she is a Serial Entrepreneur, the MD/CEO of Dezionite Group of Companies and the Managing Director of Prime Synergy Global Solutions Limited.  Mercy is also the founder of Dezionite Helping Hands Development Initiative, an NGO with the vision of Enterprise Development and capacity building in Africa.

Mercy Holds a B.Sc. In Accounting and masters in Business Administration with vast experience in cooperative management and leadership, she is presently the serving president of Dezionite cooperative investment and credit society limited, a financial cooperative offering micro credit to the financially excluded individuals in the south-south region of Nigeria
